Doues

Positioned on the watershed between two valleys, Doues is a sun-kissed village lying on a natural, south-facing terrace. Only 15 km from the centre of Aosta, at an elevation of 1,175 m within the Grand Combin area, Doues territory covers a total16,48 km² , where farming and animal husbandry still today play a key role in the local economy.

Two interesting excursion itineraries take you along the Ru de By and Ru des Monts artificial irrigation channels that convey water to the meadows.
