The traditional annual festival kicks off on Saturday afternoon with the 24-hour football tournament, which will continue non-stop until it is due to finish on Sunday evening.
The festival restaurant will open on Saturday evening for dinner and will continue on Sunday for both lunch and dinner. The menu will be entirely dedicated to polenta and dishes made with cornmeal, prepared by the Pro Loco with a particular focus on using local produce.
Sunday’s programme will also feature the 12-hour palet tournament, an event eagerly awaited by fans of this traditional game.
There will be plenty of music and entertainment: in fact, ballroom dancing evenings are scheduled for Saturday evening and Sunday, both in the afternoon (from around 4 pm) and in the evening.
