Bionaz

Bionaz is the most extensive municipality in the Aosta Valley. Being renowned for its rugged, unspoilt landscape, it is perfect for those in search of peace and tranquillity. Surrounded by towering alpine peaks – the highest of which is d’Hérèns – the area abounds in glaciers that feed many alpine lakes (including famous Place Moulin reservoir).

In winter Bionaz turns into a ski tourer’s paradise, however there are also countless snowshoe trails, plus a 5 km cross-country ski track and biathlon shooting range with 30 electronic targets.
