La petite maison de gaia

From 10 January 2021 the Municipality of Oyace is enriched by 4 small houses, located near the sports field, the Church, the school and the “Le Château” playground. In addition to being a beautiful piece of furniture that redevelops some outdoor spaces of the Municipality, the houses are a nice service, innovative and original, which allows anyone to take and / or leave a book. Oyace’s book houses are not just one of the many “Little Free Libraries” that can be seen in many Italian cities. The houses of Oyace’s books have a substantial difference: they come from the heart of mother Gianna who, with her husband Gianni, donated the houses to the Municipality with the intention of remembering the beloved Gaia.
To these houses, the municipal administration has added 4 more, positioned at bus stops and containing not only books but also games and puzzles depicting Oyace.
